Randolph County Soil & Water Conservation District Permits
  This permit is required as per State Law (70 ILCS 405/2202a), in conjunction with any Zoning Board of Appeals application.

Zoning Board of Appeals Applications
  There are five different applications which can be presented to the board. To determine if your situation fits the guidelines for one of these application, please contact the office.

Final Certificate of Compliance
  Will be issued when by inspection, the work authorized by the initial certificate of compliance has been completed in accordance with the approved plan.

Initial Certificate of Compliance
  Insures that the proposed work conforms to the applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance.

  Denotes specifics of the structure being constructed.

  To petition to have a new road named or renaming of a preexisting road.

Health Department

Family Case Management
  The program objective is to ensure entry into prenatal care resulting in improved pregnancy outcomes, reduction of premature births and low birth weight babies and decrease infant deaths.

Chronic Disease Prevention - Heart Disease Prevention
  Blood pressure screening and monitoring are provided in our officies to residents on a walk-in basis. Referrals are made to health care providers as indicated.

Tobacco Use Prvention Program
  Residents receive assessment and counseling via the Illinois tobacco Quitline, 1-866-QUIT-YES (1-866-784-8937).

Genetics Program
  The program provides case finding through utilization of a gentic screening tool. Education and referral services are available to newborns and children and their families in need. Nurses review questionnaire, provide education and make referrals as indicated.

High Risk Infant Services
  These infants have been referred throught the Illinois APORS system (Adverse Pregnancy Outcome Reporting System) by hospital and neonatal units. Nurse case manager offer home visits to the infants to provide physical and developmental assessments, education and referrals to needed services, and coordination of health and social service activities.

Communicable Disease (CD) Program
  Program initiates surveillance and compiles reported diseases for the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Education regarding prevention of communicable disease transmission is presented to individuals or groups upon request. Health and safety information is available to residents traveling to foreign countries.

Environmental Health - Private Water
  All new water wells are permitted and inspected. Water sampling and testing is available. Corrective actions for unsatisfactory test results are recommended.

Environmental Health - Food Sanitation Temporary
  Temporary food functions ie picnics, fairs, etc. need to contact us during their planning phase for information and/or regulations that pertain to them and to discuss inspections as needed.

Environmental Health - Private Sewage
  We permit and inspect private sewage disposal systems for new home construction and repairs to exsiting systems. We also investigate complaints concerning failed septic systems. Fees applied see fees section for information.

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
  Provides questionnaire assessment and finger stick screening for children. Children with blood lead levels >10ug/dl are confirmed by venous testing, which can be done at a local hospital or through the primary health care provider. Nutrition and hygiene/housekeeping skills education is provided and the blood level is monitored. Environmental investigation is done according to program guidelines by Illinois Department of Public Health regional staff.

Sexually Transmittted Diseases (STD) Program
  Program offers follow-up to residents who have positive STD cases. Education, counseling, verification of appropriate treatment and surveillance are a part of the program aimed at modifying transmission of these infections. Testing and treatment is provided and/or referrals are given.

Tuberculosis (TB) Program
  Program focuses on prevention and control. Mantoux testing, verification of preventive Reported Case therapy and follow-up are included in the identification component of program. Patient management, education, contact investigation and follow-up are activities in the treatment component.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
  A supplemental food program designed to influence lifetime nutrition and promote healthy behaviors through the use of physical, dietary and developmental assessments, nutrition education, breast-feeding support and referrals for needed services.

Environmental Health - Food Sanitation
  Food establishments are inspected based upon level of risk according to actual food handling practices. Fees apply see fees section for information.

School Health Services - Vision and Hearing Screening
  Vision and hearing screenings are provided to both public and private schools and child care centers in the county. Fee charge may apply.

Immunizations
  Program provides a variety of immunizations to both children and adults to aid in controlling vaccine preventable communicable diseases.

The Regional Safe School Program
  

  • an alternative learning opportunity for students who are about to be expelled from school & have no other educational alternative
