County Zoning

Final Certificate of Compliance
  Will be issued when by inspection, the work authorized by the initial certificate of compliance has been completed in accordance with the approved plan.

Zoning Board of Appeals Applications
  There are five different applications which can be presented to the board. To determine if your situation fits the guidelines for one of these application, please contact the office.

Randolph County Soil & Water Conservation District Permits
  This permit is required as per State Law (70 ILCS 405/2202a), in conjunction with any Zoning Board of Appeals application.

Road Naming
  To petition to have a new road named or renaming of a preexisting road.

911 Address
  A 911 address will be assigned on any new home being constructed. The 911 address will be given at the time the permits are issued.

Initial Certificate of Compliance
  Insures that the proposed work conforms to the applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance.

Building Permits
  Denotes specifics of the structure being constructed.

Street Vacating
  To petition to have a street or alley vacated.

  Give addresses for new homes or structures

  Provides Fire District mapping

911 Mapbooks
  Develops 911 Mapbooks (available for purchase in the County Clerks Office)

Ombudsman Role
  

  • The ROE serves as ombudsman as citizens raise issues & have disputes involving parents, children & schools

Julie A and Lloyd W. Lehman Journalism Scholarship
  

  • scholarship fund is supported annually by the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools & by public & private contributions
  • application for the scholarship is made annually to the Cook County Regional Office of Education

School Crisis Assistance Team
  

  • teams that develop a network that assists schools during & following a violent incident or other traumatic event
  • provides support in a crisis & assists in the training of local school teams

The Regional Safe School Program
  

  • an alternative learning opportunity for students who are about to be expelled from school & have no other educational alternative
  • assists an effective transfer back to the regular school program when student achieves his/her goals

Public Relations
  

  • respond to questions/concerns from parents, teachers, administrators, board of education & other citizens
  • promote/support educational programs & achievements of the schools & educators
  • hold public hearings on topics vital to education
  • serve as liaison between the state legislature & local school districts
  • serve as liaison between the ISBE and local school districts

Cooperative Management
  

  • assist the ISBE,Compliance division, in evaluation/recognition of public & private schools

  • provide courses in safety & first aid for bus drivers

  • condut & keep records of the initial training required for new shool bus drivers prior to receiving bus permit
  • conduct & keep records of annual refresher workshop prior to renewing school bus permits
